Agreement

These terms are between you and funstir, 225 West Wacker Drive, Suite 1800, Chicago, IL 60606, United States. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. A commissioned study has its own agreement. These terms cover the public pages, the newsletter form, and mail to [email protected] about the site.

What the pages are

The site is an educational field guide. The method described is called Claude: interviews with people who can affect a B2B purchase, observation of touchpoints, and synthesis of friction into positioning language. The pages explain a way of working. They are not a promise that your pipeline will move, that a study will produce a given sentence, or that any pattern you notice will hold outside the people you actually spoke with. Composite sketches are labeled as composites. They are teaching devices. They are not statistics and not endorsements by any company mentioned as a type of buyer.

Nothing on the site is legal, financial, or investment advice. Nothing on the site is a warranty of return on investment. If you need a regulated opinion, hire a qualified professional. funstir does not accept confidential material through the public newsletter form. Do not submit customer lists, recordings, or unpublished interviews that way.

Acceptable use

You may read the guide, quote a short passage with credit to funstir and a link to https://funstir.cfd/, and use the methods inside your own organization. You may not copy the site into another product, mirror it, or present the pages as your own publication. You may not scrape the site in a way that degrades service, probe it for vulnerabilities without a good-faith report to [email protected], or use it to send spam. You may not imply that funstir certified your research, your category claims, or your advertising.

Intellectual property

The text, the arrangement of the guide, the logo mark, and the original graphics are owned by funstir or used with permission. Names of third-party tools or laws are used for description. They remain the property of their owners. The word Claude, as used here, is the name of a research routine in this guide. It is not a grant of rights in any other product that happens to share a dictionary word. Feedback you send about the writing may be used to improve the public pages without obligation to you, except that funstir will not publish a confidential client story you clearly marked as private.

Newsletter and messages

If you submit an email address, you ask funstir to send occasional notes about new chapters. You can stop them by writing to [email protected] from that address. funstir may decline or delete an address that looks automated or abusive. Telephone and WhatsApp links are offered as contact paths. funstir does not promise a particular response time. Do not use those paths for emergencies.

Third-party services

The footer may open WhatsApp with the digits of funstir’s telephone number. Fonts may load from a font host. Those services have their own terms. A link out of the guide is not an endorsement of the destination. The cookie policy explains the local preference stored in your browser. The privacy policy explains the email address and the logs.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided as is and as available. funstir disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. funstir does not warrant that a method will fit your market or that a conclusion you draw will be correct. To the extent the law allows, funstir is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the site. If funstir is found liable for a claim about the public pages, liability is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would send the dispute somewhere else. Courts located in Cook County, Illinois, are the venue for disputes arising from these terms, except that either party may still seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. funstir may update these terms by posting a new effective date. The change applies to use after that date. It does not rewrite a separate signed study agreement.
